The Cellar is a few kilometers south of Rome. The geographical position, the volcanic soil, the exposure of our vineyards and an altitude of about 150 meters above the Tyrrhenian Sea give life to the ideal conditions for a healthy and balanced growth of the vine and its fruits.
At Casteani they mainly cultivate local grapes with passion and professionalism, such as Vermentino for whites and Sangiovese for reds. Especially the Sangiovese enhances the richness of the red wines of the cellar: Sessanta and Terra di Casteani that both express the character of the company and the wild nature of the territory.
